This is a well written mystery and adventure by Norah McClintock. I did not predict the ending and I was able to reminisce about my travels in Iceland as the facts were woven into the story. Rennie is a likeable character and his struggles with an authoritative parent is a common young adult's issue. I feel that students in Grade 7 or 8 would enjoy this novel.
